    Silly Suspensions

    Last year, in the Stanley Cup Finals, Vancouver defender Aaron Rome was suspended for 4 games for what the NHL deemed a “late hit” on the Bruins Nathan Horton. The hit was certainly illegal, and certainly worth of supplementary discipline. Here’s the hit.

    Rick Nash “Sweepstakes”

    I hate using the term “sweepstakes”. Mainly because the first time I saw that in regards to a trade was on HockeyBuzz with Eklund discussing the Matt Niskanen (or some equally irrelevant NHL player) sweepstakes.
